RoHS Certificate of Compliance

Directive 2011/65/EU on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (known as RoHS2) became European Law on 21 July 2011 and will take effect in EU Member States from 2 January 2013. RoHS2 brings a much wider range of equipment into scope but does not introduce any new substance restrictions. RoHS 2 deals with the same six hazardous substances and the same maximum concentration limits as RoHS 1(2002/95/EC).

In addition, RoHS2 is a CE Marking Directive and RoHS2 requires Manufacturers to follow the procedures in Module A of Decision 768/2008/EC which prescribe the conformity assessment procedures that Manufacturers must carry out and the technical documentation they must draw up to demonstrate that their products are RoHS compliant. RoHS2 also includes obligations for all EU Member States to perform systematic market surveillance including “appropriate checks on product compliance on an adequate scale, by means of documentary checks and, where appropriate, physical and laboratory checks on the basis of adequate samples

Innovative Technology Ltd (ITL) already has already established compliance processes and quality management systems for RoHS1, CE mark requirements and for other product regulatory requirements. Innovative Technology has updated all of the documents and the procedures according to RoHS2 and concludes that innovative Technology choose to interact with supply chain to obtain and compile documentation which ITL then evaluates to demonstrate that the finished product complies with the RoHS substance restrictions. This practical approach also explains how ITL evaluates, manages and maintains the supplier materials declarations which are needed for the RoHS2 technical documentation, and any analytical test reports which may also be required.

Innovative Technology Ltd certifies that the following ITL products - NV9 USB, NV10 USB, NV200, NV201, NV11, BV100, NV10, BV20, BV50, SMART Hopper, Note Float, SMART Payout, NG1000. conform to the essential requirements of RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and conform to the requirements of the EC Directives as below,
