Innovative Technology have recently welcomed the latest addition to their customer support team. Annabell Fock, Customer Support Advisor joined the support division in Germany at the beginning of February in order to provide first-line technical support to local customers.  This is part of the wider organisation’s strategy to expand their first-line technical support facilities on a global scale by setting up dedicated teams in several of their office locations.
Mirko Zwing, Lead Customer Support Engineer for ITL Germany commented, “We are delighted that our customers from Germany and the surrounding countries can now contact the office directly for any first-line technical support they may need. This extends our global reach, as well as ensuring that customer queries are resolved quickly and effectively, providing a more direct, localised service.”
Commenting on her position Annabell said, “The past three months have been a steep learning curve, but I have enjoyed every minute. My role is to provide technical support for our wide range of cash validation products via email and phone.  Main responsibilities include testing, installation of software, prioritising support requests and giving advice on maintenance.  I was attracted to the international nature of the role and I enjoy speaking with customers and colleagues from a variety of different countries. This support role is very varied, so every day is different which I like.”
Steve Geske, Customer Support Engineer, continued, “Annabell has a background in IT systems, so is very technically capable and manages our systems well.   She is settling in brilliantly and is already proving to be a real asset to the office.  I look forward to seeing her progress over the coming months and years.”

Innovative Technology reported a successful show at “euvend & coffeena” in Cologne on 9-11 May.   ITL’s new validators and recyclers, which boast highly secure Spectral Technology, had their vending debut to the German market. The organisation’s new automated age verification unit – ICU, was also a key focus on the stand.
Christian Czeskleba, Senior Business Development Manager, commented, “euvend always provides a relaxed setting to interact at a local level, as well as giving us the opportunity to network with some of our international customers.”
“Our NV9 range was the key focal point at the show. Customers in the region already widely use our original NV9 note validator so it was no surprise that the NV9 Spectral with its enhanced security features attracted the interest of euvend visitors. Both the NV9 and NV9 Spectral can be mounted vertically - making them perfect for compact vending machines, and because of their modular design, note float modules can be added to provide note recycling capability. The original NV11 recycler is a firm favourite for vending applications due to its compact size.  With our new upgraded recycler - NV22 Spectral – we have combined a NV9 Spectral with a ‘Multi Note Float’ payout unit which can store and recycle up to 40 mixed notes.  This was a hit at the show with customers impressed with the unit’s ability to eliminate coin starvation and keep machine operational – as well as the bonus of accepting multiple currencies at the highest level of security. Customers were also excited to see the NV9 Spectral with a Cashless bezel option, currently able to work with Nayax’ VPOS Fusion.”
Christian continued, “ICU also attracted lots of interest at the show. This exciting new product proved popular for its ability to successfully verify the age of visitors using intelligent biometrics.  The device can be used to automate the policy for controlling access to age restricted purchases (and premises). It is a standalone unit, so there is no need for customers to pre-register, providing a seamless service for the end user.”
Concluding Christian commented, “The quality of leads at euvend is always high, and it was great to see our validators in so many machines at the show this year.”

Innovative Technology, the leading cash handling technology provider, have introduced the Spectral Bunch Note Feeder (BNF) ideal for self-service, cash deposit and smart safe applications. This combined banknote feeder, validator and large cashbox brings a host of benefits for the retailer including fast acceptance speeds and a significant reduction in refill times while providing convenient, quick bunch note deposits.

Tony Morrison, Sales Director commented, “Our new Spectral BNF has a large deposit capacity with the ability to present 100+ notes and an impressive 2200 cashbox for large scale applications. Notes enter the validator from the bottom of the note pile so constant refill is available, significantly minimising cash replenishment time as retailers no longer need to wait until all notes are fed in before refilling.  This highly reliable product combined with fast acceptance speeds of less than 2 seconds across multiple currencies, make it particularly attractive for retail and back-office environments. The Spectral BNF is based on the NV200 Spectral validator and introduces a separate secondary tray to ensure continuous operation in the case of a rejected note. The highest level of security is ensured as our Spectral Technology provides 100% note image capture to validate the authenticity of notes as well as exceptional protection against fraudulent and stained notes.”

Spectral Technology has state-of-the-art spectral sensors which give the highest spectral coverage and features optical and mechanical anti-strimming technology that delivers outstanding fraud protection and best in class performance.  The NV200 Spectral’s cutting-edge note centring mechanism bring the user exceptional handling and outstanding first-time note acceptance.

Tony continued, “A safe interface add-on module is also available. When the Spectral BNF is used with ITL’s Safe Interface it is ideal for smart safe customers wanting to improve their back-office security. The combined unit allows customers to gain access to the validator head (and BNF) while the cash is securely stored inside the smart safe.  This gives an enhanced level of security and provides ease of access for maintenance for smart safe and deposit applications.”
