Innovative Technology will be exhibiting at Feria Internacional del Juego, the leading Spanish gaming trade show held on 9-10 April at the IFEMA in Madrid. They plan to have their two new recyclers centre stage, as well as their TITO offerings and new age recognition unit – ICU.
Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, Group Sales Director commented, “This biannual event is important in the ITL Spain calendar as it provides us with a great networking opportunity in a region that is vital to us.  We are looking forward to showcasing our two next-generation recyclers to the Spanish gaming industry for the first time and expect these units to attract much interest. The NV22 Spectral (NV22S) and Spectral Payout offer the gaming industry secure, mixed denomination recycling as well as large storage capabilities thereby eliminating coin starvation and reducing float levels. The NV22S is a more technologically advanced and secure version of the NV11 which is already a marketing leading product in Spain. This compact, 40 mixed note recycler is suited to medium volume applications with limited space and can recycle multi-denominations. For higher-volume applications the Spectral Payout is more suitable. This is a more technologically advanced iteration of the SMART Payout which offers 80 note mixed denomination recycling at a quicker speed and with a higher level of security.”
Both new recyclers use ITL’s Spectral Technology so are highly secure banknote validators. The NV22 incorporates the NV9 Spectral and the Spectral Payout uses ITL’s established NV200 Spectral. The use of Spectral technology in both units offers exceptional protection against fraudulent and stained notes and full spectral imaging sensors validates the authenticity of notes.
Innovative Technology will show ICU to the Spanish industry too.  Using intelligent biometric algorithms, this state-of-the-art age verification device automates the policy for controlling access to age restricted premises such as Adult Gaming Centres. ICU is a standalone unit, so there is no need for customers to pre-register, providing a seamless service for the end user. ITL will be showcasing this at Feria Internacional del Juego this year giving it its first outing at a Spanish show.
Mustapha added, “We will also be demoing some ticketing products as well as talking customers through some examples of successful TITO installs in the region.  Our field proven NV12 will be available on the stand. Its modular design combines an NV9 banknote validator with a high-performance printer unit and integral barcode reader, delivering a market leading ticketing system. The SMART Ticket, also popular in Spain, is a unique banknote validator and ticket printer utilising continuous roll ticket media. The revolutionary note in / ticket out design eliminates the need for a separate printer and is suitable for multiple applications.”
Concluding Mustapha said, “We have very strong relationships with our Spanish customers so will proudly have our validators displayed on several of our customers’ stands at the show too. Our team will be on stand # A6 so come along and see our impressive product portfolio and learn more about the benefits they can bring your organisation.”

Both the NV9 Spectral and NV200 Spectral are the most technically advanced bill validators in their class and use spectral sensors to provide high resolution imaging to authenticate the validity of bills. They both deliver outstanding fraud protection by using clever optical and anti-stringing technology and stained bill detection. Their modular design means customers can also add on recycling and ticketing capabilities.”

Georgiy continued, “The BV50 will also be available on the stand. This space saving bill validator fits easily into the standard vending plate. The BV50 bill acceptor has the option of up or down stacking and four cash box capacities (300, 550, 800 or 1050) making it ideal for vending machine applications.”

Concluding Georgiy said, “This year at Vend Expo we will also have products available for more high-volume applications.  Visitors will be able to demo the CBR approved NV200 Spectral. It has sensors that offer complete note image capture (highest spectral coverage) to authenticate the validity of notes. We will also have one of our large volume coin handling products on display – the SMART Hopper. This multi-coin hopper and recycler boasts a market leading mixed coin capacity and eliminates coin starvation. Operating at an industry leading 12 coins per second the SMART Hopper is a true multi-coin payout unit capable of accepting all coins passed through the coin mechanism. No cash to play – download ReelPay….

Innovative Technology have developed a mobile app which allows customers to seamlessly transfer funds to any enabled reel based or digital gaming machine, quickly and safely.Players no longer need to carry cash to play, they simply transfer funds from their mobile app for instant play. The app is now freely available in the UK and can be easily downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. A QR code is scanned enabling players to deposit funds securely to an individual gaming machine via their smartphone using their debit card.

Andy Bullock, Senior Business Development Manager, commented, “Following successful trials in 2018 on both reel based and digital machines at a number of sites across the North West, ReelPay is now available as an easy-to-use alternative payment solution. We are specialists in automated transactions and have been providing note validators to the gaming industry for over 27 years, so are ideally placed to draw on this market experience to effectively bring this product to market. ReelPay has already been successfully demonstrated at EAG and ICE at the beginning of the year and this was one of the most popular new products that we had on display.”

Andy continued, “ReelPay has many benefits for players, Operators and Pub Retailers alike. Not only does it give customers more convenience and choice, it provides Operators with a cashless payment option to significantly optimise cashbox performance and revenues. The real Operator benefits of ReelPay come from our Live Collect system, which runs in the background providing real-time data and transaction reporting across machines and sites. It revolutionises collection routines and provides 24/7 machine audit traceabilityand performance. In addition, remote download of currency datasets and firmware is available saving both time and money. Reel based AWP’s use a standalone system with no need for any networking infrastructure. The system utilises one of our note recyclers (SMART Payout, NV11, or new NV22 Spectral) to pay-out winnings in convenient cash so single and multi-site Retailers can benefit as the cash generated stays within the pub/venue. Digital machines utilising the GBG standard industry protocol can transfer funds back to the app for a seamless player experience”

Concluding Andy said, “We are keen to ensure that ReelPay is in line with our commitment to responsible gambling for example there is a maximum £20 transfer per transaction ensuring player protection. In 2018, all the relevant tests were successfully passed before the app was made available and following positive trials in the UK, we are now ready to install ReelPay across the UK. Developed to get ahead of the growing cashless gaming trend, we fully expect take-up to increase significantly over the coming years.”
