Innovative Technology’s note validators have once again received European Central Bank (ECB) approval for their ability to recognise genuine and counterfeit Euro banknotes.

The NV9 USB, NV10 USB & NV200 banknote validators were all tested at the De Nederlandsche Bank, Amsterdam last month and gained 100% for their ability to accept genuine Euro banknotes and reject counterfeit Euro banknotes. The test results are published by the ECB to assist banknote users when selecting appropriate counterfeit detection equipment and can be found on-line here.

Bassam went on to say, “Last month we released Euro dataset files containing the new €10 note (which will enter circulation in September). By releasing these currency files four months before the new €10 enters circulation we aim to ease the burden for Operators and Manufactures, providing sufficient time to update validators out in the field. Currency datasets are available free from our website and our global technical support team is available to assist customers across Europe. ”
