The new €10 banknote
We are pleased to announce that all NV9 USB, NV10 USB and NV200 Euro (EUR) currency datasets now contain the new €10 note, that will officially enter circulation on Tuesday 23rd September. See page 2 for more information.

By releasing these datasets now we hope to ensure a smooth transition for Operators and Manufacturers across  Europe, allowing sufficient time to update all machines, out in the field, in advance of the notes officially released in September 2014. All Euro mixed (E00) datasets will be udpated shortly and added to our website as they are released.

Next month, to simplify the update processs even more we will once again issue a SMART Update Tool. With the use of a DA3 handheld programmer and a standard SD card all ITL validators can be quickly and simply updated to accept the new €10 note. More information will follow next month and the SMART Update €10 DA3 will be available to purchase from your local office or through our webshop.

Support for original NV9 / NV10 units to end 31st December 2014

Original NV9 and NV10 units (built between June 2005 and December 2009) will be made obsolete on the 31st December 2014 meaning we will no longer be able to repair or supply parts for these units from the end of the year.

We would like to reassure customers that we will continue to provide datasets and firmware until the end of the following year, 31st December 2015. The new €10 note has now been incorporated into all applicable (EUR) Euro datasets for original NV9 / NV10 units.

If you still use the original NV9 and NV10 we recommend that you upgrade to the latest USB versions for increased levels of security and advanced technology. The NV9 USB & NV10 USB boast simple reprogramming via configuration button and USB connectivity.

The USB models support multiple interfaces, selectable via support tools or configuration cards and the NV9 USB is compatible with the Note Float module to enable note recycling and validation in one. More information is available on our website within Products.
