SSP manual version ga138-28 released
The Smiley Secure Protocol manual has been updated to issue 28 and is available to download from all individual Product pages on our website. This latest issue includes:
Addition of Refill mode command for Smart Payout - a command to allow the NV200 to reject notes routed for payout store but detected as unsuitable for storage by the firmware. Default condition is for these notes to be routed to the cashbox. This command is supported in SMART Payout/NV200 firmware version >= 4.10
SMART Hopper firmware version 6.11
Firmware 6.11 is now available for the SMART Hopper and all datasets will now be updated to this latest issue and be available to download from the Currency Download section of our website within Support.
New features include:
• Improved calibration and detection at exit sensor.
• Change end of Smart Empty routine to ensure counters remain at 0 after reset.
• Blocked exit sensor at start-up now gives calibration error event.
• Fix reporting of incomplete payout event value after fraud attempt.
• Ensure dispensed poll response is not sent prematurely in corner cases
NV9 USB 3.34 firmware available
NV9 USB firmware is now at version 3.34. This latest firmware is contained in the NV9 USB currency dataset files available to download from the Support / Currency Download section of our website. NV9 USB currency dataset files are all being re-released incorporating this new firmware _NV0009334.
New features include:
• Improved note handling during transport in and out of the Note Float.
• Note Float counters updated before giving credit on ccTalk
• Improved power supply interrupt recovery
• Detects lid open and reports an unsafe jam
• Added 30 seconds motor safety timeout
• Unsafe Jam will be reported if defect is found in rear sensor
• Resolved correct corner case where dispensing event can be continually reported after payout
• If a note is validated and cannot enter the recycler successfully and is placed in the cashbox, credit will be given. Previously a fraud attempt would be reported
PA639 – NV200 metal bezel now available.
The PA639 is an optional metal bezel for the NV200 bank note validator.
This stylish metal bezel accepts notes up to 85mm wide and is designed for high visibility and increased security. The metal bezel option is more resistant to environmental and weather conditions and the tri-coloured LED allows customers to create a personalised bezel for any machine. The PA639 is now an orderable spare available from your local office
