Innovative Technology showcase biometric access control solutions at IFSEC International

Innovative Technology Ltd will be making their debut at IFSEC on 17th - 19th May 2022 at ExCel in London. They will be demonstrating their ICU biometric solution for access control applications to visitors on stand 3045 at the UK’s largest running security event.

Andrew O’Brien, ICU Product Manager said, “ICU Pro is a biometric solution that uses facial analysis to control access to buildings or allow hygienic contactless entry.  Facial analysis is a non-contact form of biometrics which can be used to identify and allow access for authorised persons. It can be used to replace or enhance the use of RFID cards or keys. ICU Pro allows anyone to transform a simple USB camera into a complete solution to verify authorised users or staff for entry and automate restricted access to buildings. It is easy to integrate, and simple to use.  Visitors will be able to test out how the technology works first-hand at the show, and we look forward to presenting it to the security industry for the first time at an in-person event.”

ICU Pro from Innovative Technology has a 99.88% accuracy ranking with spoof detection as standard. Processes are performed locally on the ICU hardware giving a reliable and fast response.

Continuing Andrew said, “ICU’s core objective is to provide affordable and easy to use technology that can be easily integrated to meet customers’ own needs. We use our own AI algorithms developed and trained over many years rather than algorithms that are publicly available to guarantee a highly secure system.”

Concluding Andrew commented, “Security experts and professionals at the show will also be able to see how ICU can be utilised with an existing document scanner or RFID reader to provide Photo ID Verification. This gives customers an extra layer of security when verifying that photo IDs such as a passport, driving licence or ID cards match the customer in front of the camera. We are looking forward to our debut at IFSEC to demonstrate how our biometric solutions provide accurate and affordable access control for the security industry.”
