NV200 Spectral is a hit with visitors for Innovative Technology at EAG International 2018

Leading cash handling equipment provider Innovative Technology Ltd. (ITL) kick started their 2018 exhibition calendar with a week at EAG International, one of the UK’s largest amusement shows. The show took place between the 16th - 18th January at ExCeL London and attracted visitors from across Europe.

The ITL stand displayed the company’s innovative product range of note handling, coin handling and ticketing solutions. Highlights on the stand included ITL’s NV200 Spectral, SMART Coin System and various ticketing products.

Andy Bullock, Senior Business Development Manager commented, “As well as receiving lots of interest in our well-established NV9 USB+ banknote validator, our flagship product - the NV200 Spectral, was also a hit on the stand. The NV200 Spectral is a highly secure, technologically advanced banknote validator with state of the art spectral sensors that offer complete note image capture (highest spectral coverage) to authenticate the validity of notes. The unit boasts 99%+ first time acceptance of new and street grade notes with a note to note processing time of just 2 seconds. The security features of the NV200 Spectral were highlighted as a particular advantage with the unit using both optical and mechanical anti-strimming technology to deliver outstanding fraud protection.”

Andy continued, “Visitors to the stand at EAG were also keen to demo our SMART Coin System. We’ve seen a real increase in the number of manufacturers and operators using this state of the art bulk coin validator, mixed coin hopper and recycler in one. It validates, discriminates and stores mixed coins, eliminating the need for multiple hoppers. With a market leading coin hopper capacity and fully audited, efficient refills, the SMART Coin System is designed to eliminate coin starvation and significantly reduce operator collection costs.  With fast payout speeds of 12 coins per second, the unit significantly improves operator cashflow.”

TITO (Ticket-In Ticket-Out) also proved to be popular with exhibitors and visitors at the show. ITL has a range of ticketing solutions, both modular and standalone, to suit most applications.  The NV12+ is a revolutionary compact validator and ticket printer that dramatically reduces operational costs by eliminating coin hopper starvation and reducing cash handling tasks. Its modular design combines an NV9 USB+ banknote validator with a high-performance printer unit and integral barcode reader, delivering a market leading ticketing system. ITL’s newest ticketing product, the RP-80, also attracted visitor interest at the show. The RP-80 is a standalone, compact 80mm roll printer ideal for the gaming and sports betting market. It utilises a fast, high-quality Seiko print mechanism and the free user-friendly ticket template software offers unrestricted font options to create customised tickets.

Andy concluded, “Our modular approach allows customers to easily add extra functionality to their existing banknote validators and visitors were again impressed at EAG with the flexibility of our product range. I used EAG to remind customers of the benefit of our remote download facility. Available across our product range, it allows currency and firmware updates to be pushed out remotely across the customer’s entire machine estate for convenience and efficiency. EAG is a great way to start to the year as it gives us a chance to catch up with industry customers and colleagues and to plan the year ahead. The next big show for us is ICE Totally Gaming on 6-8th February at Excel in London and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand #N1-430.”
