Bank of England Approval for ITL note validator range

Innovative Technology’s banknote validators have received certification from the Bank of England (BoE) due to their ability to identify genuine and counterfeit BoE banknotes.

The NV9 USB+ (boasting enhanced sensing technology), the NV10 USB+ (compact stackerless validator), the NV200 (a high volume, high security validator) and the NV200 Spectral (the most technically advanced note validator in its class) all received a 100% grade for accepting authentic banknotes and rejecting counterfeits.

James Beswick, Customer Support Engineer commented saying, ‘The outstanding result demonstrates the high-level security features of our products as well as our unmatched reliability. We have always emphasised the importance of collaborating with the BoE, as their support allows us to ensure our currency datasets are correct and up to date.”

With the introduction of the new £10 polymer due September 2017, the cash handling industry is set to undergo a considerable change in the near future. Here at ITL, we are now looking forward to the new note entering circulation and have worked with the BoE to get prepared for the change.

ITL have a great relationship with the BoE and we are already preparing and developing our datasets for the introduction of the new £10 polymer notes. ITL’s note validator range has received BoE approval which independently proves that the company is succeeding in producing quality products at an affordable price.
