ITL bags Manufacturing Innovation prize

Innovative Technology Ltd. (ITL) have added another prestigious prize to their growing list of achievements within the past 12 months. The Oldham-based cash handling solutions firm was presented with the Manufacturing Innovation Award at the Insider Media Made in the North West awards that took place at Bolton’s Macron Stadium on the 5th May.

ITL won the award ahead of five other companies nominated in the category and were lauded for their range of state-of-the-art anti-counterfeiting solutions that wowed the judging panel. The judges were also particularly impressed with the brand new TEBS units, a cash-in-transit monitoring system that allows for traceablity of cash from the point of sale.

Operations Director, TJ Crowley, who collected the award on behalf of the company, said “This is another fantastic achievevement for us at ITL. Not only did we win this award but we were shortlisted in two other categories as well, which shows just how well we’ve been doing in the last year. I’m delighted that we’ve won an award that values innovation in manufacturing since that represents the ethos of the company.”

Graduate Marketing Assistant, Joe Sanders said “I was invited to the event as I was involved in the application process and I’m never one to turn to down a free dinner. This was my first experience of an awards dinner and aside from spending 40 minutes attempting to tie a bow tie, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire night.”

ITL’s success in Made in the North West awards now means that they have been shorlisted for the Made in the UK awards that are set to take place on 17th June at the Exhibition Centre in Livepool.
