Operators learn about the latest TITO innovations at InnoPrint events

Over 60 business leaders from operators across the UK gaming industry gathered at a series of InnoPrint events during the last week to hear how they can implement an end-to-end TITO solution and for a close look at the latest TITO innovations.

The events, themed TITO – A platform for future success, were specifically designed to help operators get the knowledge and understanding they need to make the most of the opportunities that TITO brings. A series of presentations and demonstrations highlighted the significant benefits that TITO can deliver to both operators and players, as well as the technology required to implement a secure, end-to-end solution.

Operators and manufacturers from across the UK heard that the introduction of the Gambling Business Group’s protocol in August 2014 was accelerating the adoption of TITO solutions and bringing more suppliers into the market. In turn, this will drive further innovation and deliver even greater efficiency savings for operators.

Chris Robinson, Development Director of InnoPrint, said: “The events were a great success for us. Not only have they given operators the chance to see the practical application of a range of TITO solutions firsthand, but they also provided us with a great insight into their requirements. Ultimately, this valuable feedback will allows us to tailor our products to fit our customers’ needs even more closely.”

Robinson added that operators should start to consider their approach to TITO due to the significant operational advantages it delivers, including increased revenue, improved site security and better cash management.

Peter Hannibal, Chief Executive of the Gambling Business Group, said: “It was great to see so many leading names at these excellent, informative briefing sessions. Operators and service providers were given a detailed walk through of everything they need to implement a TITO solution, from a full system to individual components. It’s pleasing to see new players coming into the solutions market, opening up customer choice and providing healthy and welcome competition. Operators now have the choice of a lower running cost option with the introduction of roll ticket printers. This is exactly what the GBG protocol was intended to achieve, by providing full interoperability of hardware for all sizes and types of operations. Although we are just at the beginning of the development of the UK TITO capabilities, events like this should give operators the confidence to install TITO into their own machine operations so that they too can start to enjoy the many benefits it brings. These are very interesting times for the machines sector.”

Tony Boulton, Managing Director of Project Design and Technology, said: “The InnoPrint events were really useful in explaining exactly how operators can implement a TITO solution which functions with all the key manufacturers’ games. This is fundamental to maximising income and player acceptability. TITO will change the way we do things and the operational improvements are significant. I think it’s pretty clear that TITO is going to make a big difference to the industry over the coming years.”

Graham Gonzalez, Managing Director of Fair Games, said: “The high level of attendance at these events highlighted the growing demand from operators and demonstrated the need for information and advice on TITO. The events were very informative, outlining the clear business benefits of TITO and showing operators that there is a range of options available to suit all requirements. Although we’re still in the early days, and the technology will continue to develop, TITO is creating some great opportunities for operators.”

The events provided the opportunity for a close look at the latest products in the InnoPrint range, including a preview of the new, TITO server and back office system, which will be launched later this summer.

Operators were also able to speak directly with the InnoPrint development team and technical specialists, who were all on-hand to advise on any design, product or application questions as well as offering their expertise to evaluate the best solutions for customer specific projects.
