Showing their commitment to Italy’s Retail sector, Innovative Technology (ITL) has returned from Forum Retail 2015, which was held at the Altahotel Expo Fiera in Milan. ITL had a successful showing at the event, with many of their products generating interest from visitors.

Business Development Manager, Stefano Mandelli said of the show “It is vital that we continue our strong presence at Retail events in Italy since its retail market is growing at great pace. We are expecting to see the results of our efforts within the next two years as ITL becomes the leading supplier of cash handling solutions in the Italian market. We have expanded our operations in our Italian office to anticipate the increase in business. Davide Giusti has recently joined as a Customer Support Engineer, which means that we are now more able to assist customers with any technical issues they may have.”

Much of the focus during the show was drawn to ITL’s range of SMART products, including the coin handling products SMART Hopper and SMART Coin System.

Stefano continued “Although gaming and vending are our core markets, our SMART products have fantastic retail applications. The SMART Hopper and SMART Coin System are particularly useful to the retail industry due to their unrivalled mixed denomination payout. Operators within the market have realised that it is important to give customers the choice whether to use cash or coins. A number of exhibitors at the show included our products inside their automatic tills, which showed visitors how our products can be implemented in their machines.”
