SMART Hopper Revision 30
A new chip has been implemented to replace an obsolete part. This change will have no effect on the SMART Hopper function and technical requirements won’t change. The product label will be changed to reflect the inclusion of the new chip as below.

Currency Dataset Download
We have refreshed the Support / Secure Downloads / Currency Download section of our website. Units are now listed under product groups and searchable by currency. Eg. NV9 Range, rather than NV9 or NV9 USB+. A useful pdf document is contained within the download to clarify naming conventions, validator & interface identification.
NV9 / NV11 / NV12 Mounting Bracket
We have designed a mounting bracket specifically for the vending industry to allow a note validator / recycler or compact ticket printer to be easily implemented into machines. The bracket mounts directly to the machine door and uses the standard vending cut-out for easy instillation. The mounting bracket is available through our webshop, part number: PA02568.
New €50 release – 04/04/2017
The new €50 note started circulating earlier this month. The note is now even more secure with added security features to make it resistant to counterfeiting. All units must be updated to accept the new €50 notes. All applicable EUR and EUR mixed datasets are available to download free from our website.
Removal of old £5 from circulation – 05/05/2017
With the introduction of the new £5 polymer note, the old note will be removed from circulation on 5th May 2017 and lose its legal tender status and no longer be accepted by shops. The Bank of England has started withdrawing paper £5 notes and if after the 5th May 2017, you find you still have some paper £5 notes you will be able to exchange them at the Bank of England. Check the website for updates on the removal of the paper £5 note. The new £10 polymer note will be released in September 2017 and more information will follow in the Summer Technical Bulletin.
New £1 coin - 28/03/2017
The new 12 sided £1 coin is now officially in circulation. On 28th March 2017, the pound coin was replaced by a new 12-sided, bi metallic, thinner £1 coin which has now become the most secure circulating coin in the world. There will be a six-month period of co-circulation until 15th October 2017 when the current £1 will be removed from circulation and cease to be legal tender.
