Innovative Technology - Asia Pacific expand APAC presence at the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE)
Innovative Technology (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd are pleased to announce their participation in the Australasian Gaming Expo, Asia Pacific’s largest and longest-running gaming and hospitality tradeshow which takes place on 14th-16th August 2018 in Sydney.
Kerry Cowan, Sales Director - Asia Pacific, commented, “We have recently increased staff at our APAC office and this dedicated stand at AGE demonstrates further our commitment to the region. Our longstanding partner ecash will also be at the show, with the Nova Green note validator which utilises our NV200 technology. Innovative Technology will bring their latest Spectral innovations to the show, introducing the NV200 Spectral and NV9 Spectral to AGE visitors for the first time. These spectral units are the most technically advanced note validators in their class, boasting stained note detection, optical & mechanical anti-strimming technology and faster note to note processing.
Kerry continued, “The NV200 Spectral is a more technologically advanced version of the original NV200, using Spectral technology to capture 100% note image - highest spectral coverage for unrivalled genuine note detection that we know will impress AGE visitors. Other products on display will include the original NV9, a truly versatile validator that is well-established in the region and visitors will also find our popular BV range available to demo.The BV50 note acceptor is designed specifically for 66mm width banknotes and provides a fast repayment of your initial investment. Then we have the BV20, a compact, light-weight acceptor ideal for space restricted applications that offers exceptional value for money.”

Innovative Technology Spain welcomes Alberto Vázquez Martinez, Customer Support Advisor
Innovative Technology Spain are pleased to welcome Alberto Vázquez Martinez, Customer Support Advisor to their operations in Barcelona. Alberto’s appointment comes during a period of sustained growth in the region and his role to provide first-line customer support to Spanish customers is key.
Commenting on Spain’s latest appointment, Mustapha Hadj-Ahmed, Group Sales Director said, “I am delighted to welcome Alberto to the team. He has extensive experience as a support engineer, as well as in-depth knowledge in customer training, configuration and software installations. We have 9 service centers located throughout Spain and our own office in Barcelona. This demonstrates how important the region is for us and Alberto’s appointment strengthens our ability to provide customers with a local, dedicated contact for assistance and advice. David Bellis, MBE wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 North Award
David Bellis, MBE, Chairman and Founder of Innovative Technology Ltd (ITL) was named EY Entrepreneur of The Year Disruptor category winner for the North last week.
For 20 years Entrepreneur of The Year UK has been celebrating, supporting and connecting entrepreneurs. The programme recognises successful entrepreneurs making a positive impact on their society and the economy, and the legacies they’re building.The Disruptor category recognises entrepreneurs with the vision and courage to challenge the status quo. The award focuses on business leaders who are more than just innovators – they push boundaries and take steps to revolutionise an existing industry or enter into or create a completely new one. The Disruptor Award is presented to an individual who is shaping and improving our working world and constantly striving for excellence.
David Bellis has created a number of successful businesses throughout his working life and has a knack for creating the right product at the right time. He has always encouraged the set up and growth of businesses, especially in his home town of Oldham. He has contributed greatly to the cash handling industry having founded Coin Controls and Innovative Technology and has even advised the Royal Mint. Having turned 80 this year he’s not yet ready to retire, there’s still too much to do!
Commenting on the award, David said “I am delighted to receive the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the North. The Disruptor category definition holds true to my personal motto ‘Satisfy needs not wants’. I built Innovative Technology on this philosophy, creating the products that the market needs which is not necessarily what they say they want. I've always tried to find a better way of doing things using the latest technology and innovative thinking.”
All of the North of England winners will go on to represent the region at the UK finals in November 2018, where the EY Entrepreneur of The Year UK will be crowned.

I first joined ITL’s subsidiary company, Automated Transactions Germany in April 2002 for a temporary position, but was soon offered the permanent role of Office Manager. Now Innovative Technology Germany, I have seen our Hamburg office grow significantly both in terms of staff numbers and success.
My tasks as Office Manager includes placing and processing customer orders, cash handling, assisting the sales team, preparatory accounting, travel booking, reception duties, exhibition organisation, database maintenance and much more. My role and responsibilities are global as I work closely with colleagues from the UK Head Office and support customers from a number of countries across Europe.
