Ticketing products prove popular for ITL at ACOS 2017

The Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) 2017 took place at on 11 & 12th October at the Conference Centre (Level 3) at London Olympia.  A key industry hot topic at the event was TITO (Ticket-In Ticket-Out) and how interest is growing significantly across the UK amusement sector.

Andy Bullock, Business Development Manager, commented, “An electrical fire at Chelsea Football Club led to a last-minute change of venue the day before ACOS 2017 was due to start but despite this the event was busy overall. As the use of TITO technology is growing we decided to use our stand at ACOS once again to highlight our complete range of ticketing solutions alongside our established coin and note handling products.”

Andy continued, “Our ticketing products proved very popular on the stand, in particular the NV12+ which is a revolutionary compact validator and ticket printer. It dramatically reduces operational costs by eliminating hopper starvation and reducing cash handling tasks. Its modular design combines an NV9 USB+ banknote validator with a high-performance printer unit and integral barcode reader, delivering a market leading ticketing system. The NV12+ accepts standard industry barcode tickets and has an unrestricted ticket print length, enabling it to print end of day audits as well as single tickets.”

As well as the popular NV12+, ITL had a range of other printing solutions on offer. From standalone coupon printers that allow unlimited branding opportunities to combined banknote validator and ticket printer products, all designed to suit several different applications. ITL’s newest product, the NV200 Spectral was also on display at the show. The NV200 Spectral has state of the art spectral sensors which offers complete note image capture (highest spectral coverage) to authenticate the validity of notes. The unit boasts 99%+ first time acceptance of new and street grade notes, has a note to note processing time of 2 seconds and delivers outstanding fraud protection by using optical and mechanical anti-strimming technology.

Andy concluded, “This was our fourth ACOS and it’s always a great opportunity to meet with our existing customers and display our latest products.  With the round £1 coin demonetised on the 15th October we had a number of enquiries about our coin handling products. We reminded customers that they can visit our website to download the latest datasets to ensure their products are up-to-date removing the old £1.  We were pleased with the overall feedback and the high interest shown in our ticketing solutions and were very impressed that the organisers managed to find another venue at the eleventh-hour to enable the event to go ahead. We look forward to a busy 2018 which kicks off at EAG and we’re excited about several new products that we will bring to the market.”
