Innovative Technology Obtains Investors in People Accreditation

Oldham based, leading cash handling equipment manufacturer, Innovative Technology Ltd, are proud to announce that they have gained the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation. Investors in People is an official standard for people management which offers accreditation to organisations that adhere to the Investors in People Standard. The benefits of an IIP accreditation include the creation of better leaders, feedback you can measure, efficient structure with an effective team, continuous improvement, dedicated experts and allows organisations to define their culture, employee branding and carry out benchmarking.

Peter Dunlop, Group Managing Director, commented, “I would personally like to thank everyone who contributes to our unique people agenda, culture and values here at Innovative Technology. IIP accreditation is a great achievement for our organisation and gaining this accreditation clearly shows that our employees recognise our mission and values and feel looked after in the workplace. Our values fall into four main categories: innovation, collaboration, respect and drive and through our people and their commitment we push boundaries to deliver innovative products and services. The IIP endorsement emphasises the value we place on people management and values here at ITL.”

Tom Whiteside, People & Resourcing Manager, commented, “This is the first people-related recognition Innovative Technology has received and is a shared achievement for everyone to celebrate.  There were some real strengths which came through during the review and one which we are very proud of is the high level of understanding of our culture and values.  Other positives include that people feel trusted to make decisions and take responsibility, and how employees believe that ITL is always improving. We’re continually investing in our people - our most important asset – and the review found that their potential is recognised and that we’re committed to developing them through a range of learning and training initiatives. We appreciate the efforts of every single Team Member that made this happen. We’re now in the process of implementing further improvements and look forward to building on this important accreditation over the coming months and years.”
