Having successfully built product in China since 2007 with a partner, Innovative Technology have chosen to open their own wholly owned manufacturing plant – Bellis Technology Ltd (Shenzhen). Named after David Bellis MBE, the Chairman of Innovative Technology and inventor of the original NV1 Smiley, the new manufacturing plant is based in Shenzhen’s Export Processing Zone, employing 40 staff.

The plant will be operational from March and will be officially opened by David Bellis MBE on 23rd April 2009. The new plant will increase global production capacity of its bank note validation products and provide Innovative Technology with 80% more capacity for new products coming out later in the year.
