Commenting on this impressive achievement, Andy Bassam, VP of Customer Support said, “James came to us as a graduate straight from university in 2014. He was promoted a couple of years later to Customer Support Engineer, then Lead Customer Support Engineer in 2018. He has worked his way to a management position and is now responsible for a team of 20 staff as Customer Support Manager (Retail, Kiosk, Banking). James is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of customer support to our retail customers. Alongside this he supports our US office with key customers from all sectors.”

James added, “I've really enjoyed the last 10 years and would like to thank ITL for giving me the opportunity for personal growth and supporting the various training courses that I have completed.  I enjoy several aspects of the role including problem solving - tackling complex challenges and find solutions for clients very rewarding. I am given a high level of autonomy & responsibility and each project I work on is different, offering a wide range of experiences. Overseeing projects from inception to completion can be satisfying, especially when seeing the successful implementation and positive results for the client. Working closely with clients, to build relationships and make a tangible impact on their businesses gives me great job satisfaction. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel fairly significantly through the US and Mexico over the years, seeing new parts of the world and meeting many people. ITL is a great company that promotes internally allowing people to grow with the organisation and I look forward to progressing further over the next decade as the company continues to advance.”

Concluding Andy said, “James is well respected by customers and colleagues, not just in the UK, but also in America and throughout Europe.  As well as having excellent managerial skills his technical knowledge is first class and he is an asset to our organisation. Congratulations James!”
