A new version of NV200 firmware has now been released, 4.58. Firmware is contained within the currency dataset files and is available to download free from our website within Technical Support/Currency Download.

ICU: non-intrusive spoof detection for facial recognition technology
We have been continually improving and adapting ICU – Intelligent Identification since it was launched in 2019. One key upgrade is the introduction of the non-intrusive spoof detection which prevents various fraudulent presentation attacks. The great thing is that no specialised cameras are required for our spoof detection. Rather than depending on limited information from just one image, ICU has the added benefit of using a series of images which give a more accurate and stable result for both age verification and facial recognition. CashGenic, our cash automation kit, was launched in May 2020 as an affordable solution for those customers wanting to pay by cash safely and hygienically whilst adhering to social distancing measures.
